We process information to evaluate uploaded IRS and state notices, deliver flat-fee quotes and assessment scopes, prepare tax schedules, prepare engagement letters, invoices, and power-of-attorney authorizations, communicate file status and document requests, and satisfy federal, state, and professional record-retention requirements.
5. Data Security Safeguards
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in accordance with our Written Information Security Program (WISP) and the FTC Safeguards Rule. Data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 / 256-bit SSL, documents at rest use AES-256 encryption, access is restricted to authorized personnel with a verified operational need, and multi-factor authentication is mandated across internal administrative, storage, and communication platforms.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with service providers that maintain strong security protocols and agree to confidentiality standards, including secure intake platforms such as Tidyflow for file transmission, e-signatures, and workflow management; Cloudflare infrastructure for security and delivery; and Google Workspace enterprise email services under strict data isolation settings.
7. Data Retention & Destruction
We retain client records, work papers, and tax deliverables in accordance with professional standards, generally for a minimum of 7 years. Once the mandatory retention window closes, physical records are shredded and digital files are permanently expunged using secure electronic sanitization methods.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
