1. No Practitioner-Client Relationship Formed by Initial Upload
Accessing our websites, submitting an online contact form, or uploading tax notices or bank statements does not create a formal CPA-client, Enrolled Agent-client, fiduciary, or attorney-client relationship. A professional relationship is formed only after we complete a conflict check, issue an official Scope of Engagement, you sign our formal Engagement Letter, and any required retainer or initial fee deposit is confirmed. Before an executed Engagement Letter, preliminary feedback, notice triage, or automated quotes are informational estimates only.
2. Not Affiliated with Government Agencies
myirsletter.com, banktotax.com, and Vanguard Apex Tax Group, LLC are independent, privately owned commercial services operated by licensed tax professionals. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agency of the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, or any state department of revenue.
3. Portal Use & User Responsibilities
When uploading files or using our Services, you agree that you are the authorized owner or legal representative of the business or individual named on uploaded documents and that submitted information is authentic and unaltered. You will not upload corrupted files, malware, executable programs, or materials containing unauthorized third-party personal data. Uploading an IRS letter does not stop IRS collection actions, interest accumulation, statutory assessment deadlines, or U.S. Tax Court petition countdowns. You remain responsible for deadlines until a formal Power of Attorney (Form 2848 / 8821) is executed and filed.
4. Scope of Online Notice Triage and Estimates
Preliminary quotes provided through our portals are non-binding estimates based strictly on the documents submitted. If later examination reveals missing tax years, undisclosed income, payroll tax liabilities, or incomplete bank files, we reserve the right to revise our professional fee schedule before commencing work.
5. Circular 230 Notice
Written tax information on our public landing pages or in preliminary quote emails is not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used by any taxpayer, for the purpose of avoiding penalties under the Internal Revenue Code.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, code, branding marks, logos, user interfaces, layouts, and copy on vataxgroup.com, myirsletter.com, and banktotax.com are the proprietary property of Vanguard Apex Tax Group, LLC and are protected by applicable trademark and copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, extraction, or scraping is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
Our websites and automated upload portals are provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from portal downtime, technical transmission errors, or third-party hosting delays. Total aggregate liability arising from website usage will not exceed the total fees paid through the portal during the preceding 30 days, or $100, whichever is greater.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or portal use shall be filed exclusively in state or federal courts located in Florida.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our document upload portals following posted updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Message frequency varies based on your inquiry, document upload activity, and consultation scheduling. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to (727) 855-8883 to cancel or HELP for assistance. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
